I'm hauling to TX from IN in October for a show. He will be in a stall for several days. I was looking at alternatives to the Soft Ride boots. I ran across a thread for Hoof Wraps that have gel inserts. I am worried about heat building up on the trailer ride down there. We will be driving mostly at night and have plenty of bedding. I will only be using for trailering and overnight while he is in the stall so I'm not terribly worried about how well they hold up to outdoor use. I was planning on wrapping with cool out clay for the trailer ride and stall time as well. It's been a long time since I've taken a trip this far away. I welcome any advice! Thank you!!

If it’s for travel I’d do Softrides or Clouds. The clouds don’t have near the cushion as the softrides but they are lighter.
