Location: Northwest | I was just telling a friend how much I miss having a fiberglass roof. I had a Circle J BP a few years back and the heat difference in the horse compartment is night and day compared to my aluminum roof trailers. Fiberglass is sooo much cooler in my experience. |

Location: Iowa | I had a fiberglass roof once ..drove under a tree. Branch stuck in roof, friend's drunk husband with chain saw tried to help. Chain saw stuck in branch that was stuck in my roof. Was kind of a funny scene. The hole in my roof, not so much |

I bet it was way cooler for the horses and a bit lighter to haul too. I think thats what the fiberglass roof was all about was less weight and cooler for horses, I think I read that somewhere. |

| I had a 20 yr Trail-et with a fiberglass roof. No issues, stayed cool. Just know, if it's not already been done, if you add a rooftop A/C you may need to reinforce your roof. "Most" these days come already done, but just something to look for. |
