The really cool part was the PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY LAB at a local community college. This is an industrial course and takes 2 years instead of 4. Starting salary was about $45,000. Most of the work is inside monitoring systems on computers. The whole thing was very interesting. So if you are really not into the medical field or teaching you might want to look into this. I never knew this existed so was just trying to gt the word out.

I work at Eastman and am a part of the High School team shere we go out and talk to local high schools about our porgrams and our scholarship programs.  We give scholarships to every single local school that has someone apply.  We also have other postitions that starts out macking much more than the lab tech position.
