What should I pay someone for just exercising 1 or maybe 2 horses? I just want them to leg them up. Like walk, trot, long trot, and lope down the road or in the pasture. If its 2, ride one and pony the other.

My sister was paid $10.00/head to lope cutting horses. She didn't have to saddle or unsaddle either.

In high school, I did it for $150 a month. I KNOW that's cheap. But I was so tickled to be getting paid to ride a horse. Lol!
I think you could find someone to do it for $50/week. Coming out 4-5x a week. It only takes about an hour or less from start to finish to exercise one. That includes grooming, saddling, hosing off and everything.
I would never pay someone $20/per ride to just long trot my horse. At 30 rides that's $600/month and that's a training fee with feed/board around here.

I was paying $30 a ride to get my horse going again after a long lay up due to my medical issues.

i think the pay needs to consider the level of horsemanship the horse requires. I have one that is a turd so it would be a training daily rate. the other is so sweet and easy so a galloper rate would suffice. yes i have to pay an extra turd horse tax.
