Location: Fort Worth / Springtown | A BHW mom from Kansas once posted about her little girl who had just lost her horse, looking for ideas to remember him by. I offered to draw him, so she sent me a picture and a connection began.
That year, they sent me a very special Christmas gift package and I sent them a package, also. Fast forward, and last Christmas was our 10th Christmas Gift Exchange! 10 years! This year, I got to meet them. The whole family -even the dog in the picture came to a show in Fort Worth within walking distance from my office, where I am typing this, right now! Went to lunch, got to love on Saint Nic, her reining horse. She's a doll.
Syd just headed off to college, and can you guess where - my home State of Texas. Will ride for Baylor Equestrian Team. Not only that, but there is a possibility that she might intern at our law firm in the next few years. Unbelievable! This family is so sweet and humble and they raised their girl the same way. She works hard for everything she is given and doesn’t take things for granted. She scored the highest score ever in Youth Showmanship - won the Youth Showmanship World in 2015. She's in multiple publications. I just got the Smart Pak Summer 2017 and there is a picture of her kissing her horse. Now, if someone will just get her on a barrel horse! Only kidding. She’d probably take all our money.

| Love these stories. I, too, have been fortunate to meet a couple ladies who started out as social media friends and have ended up becoming very close friends. I am so happy to were able to finally meet your friends in person~
