I see them all the time when I go into H.E.B here in town. Those are most like likely NOT therapeutic quality oils, unfortunately. They are cosmetic and fragrance quality which means they are of low quality. Now and Acia are not therapeutic quality. I don't mean to sound preachy but I don't want you to buy something that isn't going to work. If you buy their peppermint and then buy peppermint essential oil from Young Living, Rocky Mountain Oils, Swiss Aromatics, Ananda, etc., you'll be able to tell a difference when you smell them. The lower quality oils will smell like peppermint candy and the higher quality will smell minty with out the sugary tones. THIS!!! Most of the time when people tell me their oils didn't work I find out they've bought a $5 bottle somewhere and it was a fragrance oil. It has to be therapeutic grade to work, it has to be an ESSENTIAL oil to serve the correct purpose! LOL, nope wont be buying any oils from any where, just not into that sort of thing, lol.. I just noticed that there in the make up area of H.E.B that there is oils of all kinds. Not even my oil that makes you smell like butt and cures bruises?!?
Wait What!!! You have butt smelling oils?!! Will it help to keep the little blood suckers away while trying to work outside? Now that would be something to look into if it helps, LOL. | |

Lavender is the only one I know of that actually has been tested, and it does in fact calm horses and humans. Dunno about dogs. Most of the oil hype is woo-woo, but they can smell nice and make you feel good, so have fun!
Here's one article about dogs:
