Is there any way to DNA a horse, if you suspect the wrong papers? Received papers for a horse and the description doesn't match the horse. Feel free to PM me. TIA

Just call AQHA and pay your $40 for a DNA hair kit for parentage
verification even if he already has had a test ..
Both parents should already have the DNA since it has been a rule
for 20 years ....
Expect 4-6 weeks if you pull hair and send it in asap ..
snail mail is slow these days ..

If the sire/dam on the papers you have are dnaβd then youβll be able to determine that they arenβt his papers.
You wonβt necessarily be able to find out who his real true parents are unless you already have a pretty good idea
(letβs say he came from a barn with 2 studs and you think the other stud is his daddy not the one on the papers
).
