you have been telling us for 2 years how awesome Danco was. Now they are not awesome?Â
How can these be the best cubes in the universe if Danco is the best in the universe?

Inquiring minds want to know... what happened that you no longer LOVE Danco?
I was interested until I saw the alfalfa came from Kansas. Someone in my area is going to start selling the D&D cubes also. Won't be trying them.

mreklaw - 2017-10-17 8:14 PM I have been feeding Hayrite for over 2 years now. Never had any choke. Previously fed pellets and did have choking issues. Mine eat them both wet and dry. But I just pour some water on them as I give it to them. I don’t “soak” them first. I feed Renew Gold and coastal hay. I give 2-3 pounds of the cubes morning and night. No supplements. All fat including 21 year old.
I have the same feeding program.  I added a little water as they were eating the cubes and as soon as they started to break down and soften they quit eating them. I do have a source for great baled  alfalfa so guess I will stick with baled, cubes sure are easy though, I just hate how hard hay-rites are.
Try the ones with oat hay added. They are much softer. I got a few bags when they were out of the regular alfalfa mini cubes. My horses love them and clean up every last bit. Even the two pasture ornaments that are out 24/7. While the regular mini cube is harder I can still break them up with my arthritic hands. They always smell fresh too. Have heard of some blister beetle cases from the Standlee cubes so I won't be trying those.
Where did you hear about blister beetles in Standlee alfalfa cubes? Sometimes I have to feed those if I don’t have time to travel for my Danco cubes.
