Location: on the fine line between insanity and geniusness | I was discussing with a friend of mine a post that she had seen on Facebook recently, and since I don’t have Facebook, I thought I’d get y’alls opinion on the subject. I wonder why the BFA doesn’t test for performancing enhancing drugs at the futurities? It is the start of a young athletes life and career, should we as an industry be doing more to insure the integrity of it. I’m not against bute, banimine, lasix etc. this is more directed to steroids, frog juice and worse. The race horse industry tests, the bucking bull futurities test, AQHA world tests- why shouldn’t they? |

Location: on the fine line between insanity and geniusness | In my opinion if they don’t want to enter because there is a drug test, they have no business being there!! As an owner and trainer I wouldn’t mind paying a little more for an entry to ensure that the ones winning are doing it honestly!! |

Testing is expensive and you can count on the fact if Gov. control of Para Mutual didn't force the Racing industry to test they wouldn't |
