What’s everyone’s opinions on soft rides? I’ve used them but don’t like the way they fit and not very durable. Has anyone used anything else?

I had a pair and loved them.... UNTIL I left them on my pet coon of a horse overnight and he tore the Velcro’s off. They were tough enough for him.

We have used them on many horses and I love them. They provide great cushion and support, and every time I have dealt with the company, they have gone out of their way to serve us. We requested extra rubber grips (the things that look like hair ties that go around the Velcro part), because the Velcro was just mud coated and wouldn’t stick after only a few weeks and the horse desperately needed to be wearing the boots- and instead they exchanged the pair of boots for a new one!

They have always been very helpful to us.

I love them and so do my horses. My main rodeo horse has pretty cruddy feet and soft rides have saved him several times. He has a full set and he wears them every time he's hauled, and while standing around at rodeos or barrel races. When I unvelcro them, he will do everything possible to avoid moving his feet off them.
They have been so great for him that I got a set for Clifford when I started running him, had the first two pairs that he wore out repaired and kept them for Joker & Streak, then bought a pair for Fred when I got him. These 4 have good enough feet to go without, but it's nice to know that if we have to park on gravel or asphalt somewhere, they aren't standing directly on it.
