I know that PHT products help with multiple rehabilitation issues, reducing inflammation, and easing soreness; and I know that BOT products recirculate your heat back to you, helping with stiff muscles and helps horses warm up. But what do you use your PHT and BOT products specifically for on your horse/s?

Question for you. Hope its ok. I have been told and seen people leave the pht blankets on 24/7. I have been told by 2 different vets (one is osteopathtic and the other a regular) that you only want to leave on no more than a couple hours at a time because then the cells will get that they depend on the magnets. I just paraphrasing not their exact words. My personal experience with the magnet bracelet I got: I have had on for 24 hours except to shower and have worn for couple weeks. It has really helped with over all body soreness and I can tell difference. What is weird that yesterday it was raining (which we haven't had in long time) and my arm started going numb so I switched arms just to see and my other arm was starting to go numb and feeling funny. Last night I took off bracelet when I got home and my arm has quit hurting and I am not wearing bracelet today and still feel pretty good. (I always in some kind of pain too long to explain lol) My question is : Does Pht recommend that you keep these blankets on all time? or what do they recommend? One vet says to do after you run for couple hours the other says to do before you run but pull off couple hours before you run. by the way it took 2-3 days before my blanket made it to the barn! and that is when I asked for a magnet bracelet for me! Thanks! Hope I made sense! lol

I personally love BOT for warming up the body before running. My horses are all in their teens and so they have the aches and pains that come from running barrels for a number of years. There is a big difference in how quickly and easily they move at the beginning of a warmup after wearing BOT leg gear & sheets compared to how they move if I don't put the BOT stuff on them.

Many people see great results with magnetics, but it wasn't really the case for my top rodeo horse or his backup a few years ago, so I sold my sheet to a friend who did see results with it. Chance does respond well to wearing magnetic bell boots 5 days of the week in the pasture, so I always keep at least one pair of them around.

Every horse is different and I feel like it's my job to find the therapy that best aids each individual horse. Honestly, I'm loving the results from the Hidez compression suit. I ran at a 3 day rodeo series over New Years with temperatures in the 20s the first day, below 10 the second day and right about 2 degrees when we ran on day 3. Chance wore the suit from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. each night, then again from 10-11 or 10-midnight after he ran, and I could not believe how loose he was to start our warm up on those cold nights. We competed in a heated barn but had to warm up in an unheated building across the parking lot so we were definitely exposed to the cold. There are some times that it takes me almost an hour to get Chance loosened up to run, but New Year's weekend wasn't like that at all. In fact, the first two nights I got on way too early because I was expecting the old man stiffness.
