Go Get Em! Posts: 13503 Location: OH. IO	I need the name of a LOCAL FLORIST to order flowers for a family that was killed in a house fire.I don't want an internet florist as I just had a big issue with AVAS FLOWERS who say they are apparently everyone's local florist.Does anybody know of one personally?

Popped Posts: 20421 Location: LuluLand~along I64 Indiana	i cant help you with a florist but there is a kroger and a lowes. you might call there and ask someone local to point you in the right direction. I know as an office manager in a small town i have taken several calls for information about the area and point folks in the right direction. Hope that helps jake.

	Most of the local florists you find are tied to 800 numbers and you will never know if they really exist or not ... usually NOT. I ordered 18 roses from a company and they sent the roses in a box, no greenery and a cheap vase with a couple of photos how to design your own ... lol I have been successful on locating Funeral Homes and a number to a local florist. Twice I have called Krogers in the larger cities and talked to their florist and paid to have Uber deliver the flowers. (they use Uber also to deliver groceries to people .. new thing going on ) GOOD LUCK ..

Thank you,it's nice to see that you understand the dilemma.A couple weeks ago I ordered flowers for someone from Ava's flowers who assured me they were local.the flowers never arrived and Everytime I called to see why they wanted me to change my order to a fruit basket.It took several calls to finally get my order cancelled.

I agree with the funeral home idea---most of them in our area have a florist right beside them or even in the same building. Hope you found a REAL florist that will take care of you Miss Mary.
