Jim Edwards Bits *Update*

I've always known Jim Edwards bits to be handmade by him. But since Dena Kirkpatrick talked about them on Racers Edge, I see Classic Equine now sells Jim Edwards bits for the same $190 price tag as the handmade original Jim Edwards. I was wondering, does anyone know if these bits are still made by Jim? Or is Classic manufacturing them now?

Just curious if anyone has been to her clinics and which ones she uses/recommends and why. Is it the gag and the slider? or just the gag

Google Jim Edwards bits and go to his web page and you can send a question to him about Classic Equine..

In the video where sheβs talking about them, she says her favorite mouthpiece is the ball correction. Itβll collapse around the jaw a little and give you more lateral flex. Iβm thinking about getting the slider with the San Saba mouthpiece to see if itβll help me keep my mare a little more square. She tends to over flex easily

I got a response back this morning from my inquiry on the Jim Edwards website:
βYes, the Jim Edwards Bits are still handmade by Jim. Equibrand is now just the distributor for him. The quality and craftsmanship is still the same in all of Jimβs bits. Nothing has changed from the manufacturing side. Again, we just help sell them for him and offer them online as well as through our network of Equibrand dealers. Jim does and is still selling them directly as well. There is no price difference rather you buy from the Jim Edwards website
(maintained through Equibrand
) or buying directly from Jim.β
