| Hello! I'm feeding omnis cubes + hay and no grain. I'm adding a vitamin/mineral supplement and another powdery supplement but I'm not sure how to feed these and not waste them? I'm thinking I might just add a mini scoop (like 1 cup) of a generic sweet feed? Anyone have better suggestions? |

Location: Where the long tails flow, ND | Just curious- why do you need and additional vit/min supplement? And are you able to just put a few cubes in a pan with a tiny bit of water or liquid something to get the powder to stick? |

Location: Do I hear Banjos? | We feed a powder supplement to my senior guy. To help it stick to the Total Equine we use a squirt or 2 of the Healthy Coat supplement. He likes the taste and it does the trick. I also have used it to get powdered meds to stick. |

Location: North Dakota | If you arenβt feeding grain just pick up a bag of alfalfa pellets and give the supplement on those or a tiny bit of oats just to get the supplement in. You are feeding both of those already so wouldnβt change your end goal. |

Location: NE Texas | I put my Cur-Ost right on top of the Omnis cubes with no issue. That's all I feed is Omnis, no grain, not other hay source. |

This. Put a handful of cubes in a bucket and wet them. When they get soft (only takes a couple minutes) put the powdery stuff on top and mix around a bit. |

| Do not soak the Omnis cubes. Says so on the label because of the flax.
You can "wet" them but do not soak them. |

| Cool. Thanks guys! I didn't think about just wetting them down enough to get things to stick.
To answer the question about why I need to supplement: I have one that needs extra biotin. And I know my guys tend to ignore any mineral or salt block so I'd like to try feeding a mineral/vitamin top dress designed for horses that dont get grain. |

| I feed cubes, and just throw whatever I need to in with them. My horses mush their cubes up so much they don't even realize! |

| I use beet pulp shreds to put any supplements in. I feed fats for coat and energy to my guys during the show season, and sometimes other supplements like brewers yeast or a calming supplement. I use a 16 oz cup of beet pulp and add flax, rice bran and oil. The horses eat it up great, and no sugar. |

| Luckily, my horses love their supplements. They push their cubes out of the way to get them, so I don't have to do anything, just add them to their feed buckets and pour into the feed tubs. |
