Saddle sliding back

I have a Caldwell ultra rocket. Sent pics of horse and this was the recommended tree. It was great the first few years
(horse was six then ... now 11
) but now it has started sliding back after warming up. Assuming my horse has just changed/matured since I bought it. My question is...what is the fit issue when the saddle slides back? Need a wider tree?
Also, always used a 1” 5 star but recently have tried a CSI with not much change in saddle fit.... but is a little better.

I would try a 3/4 or 1/2 inch 5 Star, a 1 inch is really thick for a saddle that fits..

sliding back usually means too narrow.... Ask Charon she is great with saddle fit.

Agreed. 1 inch is very thick for a saddle that fits. Most ppl make saddle fit way too complicated. You should be able to use a thin pad and the saddle not roll. Make sure it isn't pinching anywhere, your sweat patterns are good, and they aren't getting back sore or showing signs it is bothering them. They will tell you if something doesn't fit!

Try thinner pad.
If your using a 1” pad and you go to a 1/2” you gain an inch of space
(1/2” on either side of the gullet
). And can do a LOT to change the fit.
