Alright folks, have any of you used or seen an FX Saddle Co. brand saddle in person!?
Well here's the deal:
I'm in the market for a new ranch saddle and these guys are affordable, not like Corriente affordable but more like Billy Cook affordable.
They have 2 leather options and 2 tree options. You can choose to have your saddle built on a Timberline tree
(Very pooular, good quality tree, I believe the ever popular McCall saddles are built on them
) or a cheaper tree option
(still wood and rawhide wrapped, comes with a 5 year warranty
). And the leather options are either Herman Oak or a cheaper option.
I spoke with the owner of the company and figured that I could get the better quality tree with the cheaper leather option for around $2000 US. I take care of my leather and just have plans for this to be a using saddle to be literally used and abused but I also take care of my leather so I don't doubt that it would last.
I'd be getting a saddle much like this I think:
I've completely exhausted myself ontrying to find a used rig that fits thebudget and is what I want.

I have never heard of them, but am in pretty much the exact same boat. If you do hear feedback, or decide to give them a try, please share!
