| Psalm 59:1 DELIVER me, from my enemies, O my God; DEFEND me from those who rise up against me.
The setting for this psalm is found in 1 Samuel 16:14 and 1 Samuel 19 The Spirit of the Lord had departed from Saul, and Samuel had already annointed David to be king. And evil spiri continued to move Saul to rage. Twice he had tried to pin David to the wall with his spear, and now he sent messengers to David's house to watch for him in order to put him to death in the morning. Because of Saul's fear and hatred of David, he was willing to kill an innocent man. But the Lord USED David's wife to help him escape by letting him out the window so he could run to Samuel. We find assurance In Psalm 59:1-17 that NO matter what circumstances, we have a God to whom we can turn. In fact, it is a GREAT REMINDEER of the providence of God, who KNOWS ALL the thoughts, plans and intentions of the heart and overrules them for His glory and our good. God KNEW David was innocent and delivered him from Saul.
David didn't just sit there in his house. He PUT his life IN God's hands, YES, but did what he need to do to escape, James 2:17. WE ARE TO BE DOERS OF THE WORD, and David ACTED on what he knew and could do.
This message today is a great reminder for me. Yet, I have cancer "again" God's is in control. I will use this to my advantage, 15 years ago I ask God to heal me of cancer. And to SHOW me how to become a vessel for Him. Since then I have posted my daily personal journey with Jesus. I am more prepared than I was 15 years ago, going through cancer then,I was in the dark and had to do a lot of research for herbs etc, so I could still ride 5-7 horses a day. I have 3 now, well 5 with my husband roping horses I gallop every day. I see the oncologist Thursday,10 am to make a plan for surgery and treatments. This will be same doctor I used 15 years ago. I am NOT being strong in the flesh, but I AM BEING STRONG IN MY FAITH.. I can only do one breath/day at a time see how it goes. I am planning o getting a mastectomy this time, will know more tomorrow. Hopefully will be in surgery Monday. Don't know all it details of being off my horses. 
Will have to see as it comes...please CONTINUE TO PRAY, my dad is slowly fading away, my mom is main caretaker , I go over and help every day give her a break. Life throws curveballs and we just have to move and catch what we can..NOT EASY but doable. My main problem is me being organized, UGH, I have to learn to step back and let go and LET God, its ok if things doesn't get done..mmmm right? Yes it is...my husband is a great helper. And I have 2 sisters and niece that live here. May have to depend on them more than usual...have lots of friends already volunteering to help...NBHATX08 family doing a Benefit race May 13th WOW FEEL BLESSED AND LOVED.
Father God, Lay Your hand of grace(favor) over me, and others dealing with disease the devil places upon us. I KNOW that YOU are IN CONTROL.. ALL I CAN SAY FOR SURE " ALL IS WELL WITH MY SOUL". If my soul, mind and body are in alignment with Jesus healing WILL come. AMEN For it is WITH God ALL things ARE POSSIBLE. Mark 10:26. HAVE A VERY BLESSED Wednesday ALL! God LOVES you! And so do I!! If you are going to live ,walk and witness for the Lord , you too will have your enemies. BE ON ALERT and TRUST God to take care of you. YES, the devil HATES when we are in alignment with God's Word, the devil is here to kill, steal and destroy...the closer you are to God the more the devil will try his very best to STOP you! I want the devil to know that EVERY MORNING MY FEET HIT THE FLOOR HE BETTER RUN AND DIAL 911 , he is ONLY making my faith and my relationship with Jesus STRONGER!!!
