Location: Texas! | So I did a thing and got a sale barn horse. She is from the breeder my old rodeo horse came from and we all arenβt sure how she ended up where she was but she is skin and bone and a sweet little bay mare. She was not even halter broke when we got her. 3 yo her registered name is Imbayedtothebone. I need a barn name for her! I kind of have a Mexican theme at my house currently but am open to anything that seems to fit!

| Pretty girl! Spanish names like Marisol, Maricella, Mala (meaning bad but like bad to the bone I.e. her registered name), Camila, Mariposa (meaning butterfly kinda like she's under a transformation), Fuerte (for strong), Sangria, Margarita, Paloma, Martini (it's Saturday and they sound good! Lol), or Breeze like a Bay Breeze with tequila. Selena, JLO, Dahlia |

| She looks like a Marizta to me. I had a babysitter who was from Cuba and that was her horse's name they kinda look the same that toffee bay color. When I was a kid that horse probably did more babysitting than Carmen did lol |

| Yegua is mare, potranca is filly, so you could call her something stemming from that. I really like a lot of the other names that have been posted, you have some good choices!
Buena suerte is sweet dreams, you could call her that or even just buena. Are you wanting a Mexican/Spanish name or just a word that might fit her personality?

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I had a mare we called la yegua. And of course we lived on the border so I had a lot of mexican names for my horses and Juan was another name. |

I'm glad you rescued her
Me too it is crazy Iβve been looking for 12 years for anything bred similar to my gelding and this darn thing pops up from the same breeder! I couldnβt let her go to anyone else or worse. Plus I figured I could spend what I paid for her barrel racing one weekend so what the heck lol |

Location: Texas! | Yβall! I am so proud of this little girl. She came unhandled we had to load her through the cattle alley to sedate her to doctor her leg wound when she arrived. Today I had her tied and was able to bandage her leg! No sedation! Amazing what two weeks of groceries will do to one!
