Changing Leads

While I'm sitting at work wishing I was home on my horse. I was pondering on drills I want to go home and work on one of my horses.
He is not wanting to change leads at all so I'm breaking him back down and getting him back to the basics.
My question is what are some of your favorite drills to work on with this. Anything different or unique or just a game you've come up with to fiddle with one on lead changes?

First make sure heβs not sore and your saddle fits. I recently got a new saddle for a colt of mine and his lead changes smoothed or considerably since heβs not being pinched anymore
(he had a major growth spurt within the last 6 weeks
).
Once all of that is cleared, I like to carry a dressage whip to reinforce my leg. I work a lot of figure 8βs using the whole arena, or coming down the diagonal. Once we can do those in 1 stride Iβll go to serpentines.
I donβt really teach a flying lead change, I find if you can put a good enough simple change on them to break down and quickly change in the pattern that as they want to start adding speed on their own, theyβll start to do the flying change by themselves.

Thank yall!
He's been vet checked and I'm an equine chiro /massage therapist. Everything fits hes just being a turd .... Was just a general curious question to see if anyone found fun little tricks to work on ... My horses don't see a pattern a lot they just get drills and riding.

I remember watching somewhere at a clinic to let your horse stay on the wrong lead for a few strides and then ask to go on the correct lead.
