No, I’m trying to keep an issue from happening later by sealing/lining it

I acid washed mine with muriatic acid. I bought a special mask at Lowe’s or Home Depot so I didn’t burn my innards. I then painted a truck bed liner over the aluminum planks. Lots of people think aluminum is corrosion proof but it’s not. I did this to my trailer back in 2010 or 2011 and it’s still going strong.

We Line-X our trailer since we had to replace the entire floor. Hard lesson learned when buying trailers but our trailer is stout.

If this is a new trailer check the warranty details .... We had one that voided pretty much everything if you put any sort of liner or even mats on the aluminum floor. I just used straw and never had an issue.
