Living quarters possible water damage?

We bought a used 4 Star trailer last year and love it but Iβm concerned there may be water damage in the living quarters on the wall panels. There are some places on the paneling that look splotchy like maybe a roof leak or condensation has caused them. I also suspect it because the living quarters has a little bit of a smell and I get a stuffy nose and sore throat when staying in it for a couple days.
How do I know if thatβs what it is? And what do we do to get it fixed?

Take the trailer to a RV repair shop and have them go over it for you.

Feel for soft spots. Water spots on the ceiling would be a good indicator. If its from inside the trailer I know your insurance should cover it, but if its a leaky roof I am not sure about that. If its the roof you basically just need to get up there and patch it. Any damage areas in the LQ would obviously need replaced. Apparently 4 stars leak because I keep hearing about it a lot lately.

I had water damage on my floor. No one was sure where it came from maybe the shower. The RV place to the adjustor it was from the plumbing and they covered it. In the process they said if it had been from a roof leak they would not cover it.
