I have my two finished horses and one is a 4 year old " only child, baby on the block, seeks a lot of attention " type. I just got a 3 year old outside horse in to ride and train, and my " Baby" seems like he is punishing me for it. LOL He pouts because he is no longer the new kid on the block, and how dare I show any attention to another horse. LOL Anyone else ever have a pouter? LOL

I've never experienced that with a horse, but boy do Fido and Fluffy type critters let me know about it.  I got a new cat, thought mine needed a buddy, and couldn't find her for three days.  She was on a top shelf in the closet.

I've got half brothers that have a lot of jealousy issues when they see me working one and not the other. Nice to know they like their time spent with me

Oh this used to happen all the time when I was riding outside horses. My ponies would stink eye me all day. When I did go over to say hi or give them some attention, my mare would put her butt in my face and swish her tail at me.  Refused to let me give her attention after spending all day with outside horses.
I love her for that attitude

I recently got a yearling and if I do anything with him before I work with my main mare, she obsessively sniffs me all over. She has met him several times (they are on different sides of the driveway) and she’s not all that interested in him, but boy she gets annoyed if I smell like him haha

I have a horse that gets super jealous. If I ride anything else she pouts or tries to bite them. One time she actually picked up her headstall and bridled herself and watched me as I rode something else.

But the funniest was when I hauled her with a 2 year old earlier this year. I jumped on the baby first to try and wear her out so she would stand, and the older one through a HUGE fit at the trailer. She has been hauled alone a lot and stands really good! I thought she was just looking for the two year old. When I got back to the trailer she tried to bite the poor baby and tried cow kicking her 3 times. She was so mad that I was on the 2 year old!! Never crossed my mind she would get mad.

Just FYI I absolutely love this horse and she'll never leave my place. She is super expressive!!

How did she bridled herself?
