Cinch rubbing

Best cinch to prevent rubbing? One of my mares gets rubbed easily. Haven’t had an issue the past few years since switching to mohair. But now she’s getting a rub spot again with the mohair. Not sure if it’s the age of the mohair cinch? I clean it whenever it gets dirty. Any suggestions?

We all use Toklat fleece. Make sure cinch is correct length.

Have you tryed a Professional Choice Shearling Cinch? Or maybe just get a new mohair cinch.

Thanks! I use this on my other mare and I couldn’t find a small enough one for this mare. She needs a 24” but I just searched and now they sell them! I’ll give it a try!

Thanks! It’s the right size and I’m stumped as to why it didn’t rub before. It’s clean and I don’t see anything irritating. I’ll look into the Tolkat
