We’re looking to move, so a walker will wait until then. I look forward to hearing your research and final decision!!!! :)

Bought one several years ago, looking back....maybe I should have put more money upfront and bought heavier duty.

I have a 6 horse Priefert and yes it was more expensive than most other brands. In this case I feel you get what you pay for. I have not regretted spending the extra money on the Priefert. Their warranty is great and they service what they sell. We have them change the oil twice per year and the walker is virtually trouble free. I bought the drag and it is well worth it.

I completely understand.........If you get a chance, take a look at our ProWalk Horse Walkers.  If you wanted to get a leadshank walker, four horse, ours is $6895.

When it comes to walkers, people tend to look at three areas the most. Cost, quality, and reliability.

Rarely will you ever find something that is the least expensive, made of the best quality, and the most reliable ever.

We aren't the least expensive, but we are very competetive. However, in regards to quality and reliability, no other walker in the world compares. My father started this company in 1983, he has sold over 85,000 walkers. Most every walker is still in use at this time. This is why we keep parts in inventory for every walker that we have made since 1984. Just some food for thought, I do wish all of you the best, but please always feel comfortable asking me any questions....even if it isn't about our walker and its another manufacturer. Have a blessed day and thank you. -Kim

Bumping this back up - hoping to hear from people who have free walkers, and pros and cons of what they have, what they'd do if they had to do it over again........

DRowe did you get moved?

We went with an MK walker and have been very pleased so far. We installed it ourselves and it went very well. We used our existing round pen for the fencing. My husband was impressed with the quality. Their customer service was great with all of my questions.

We did move!!!! Right now we're having an arena graded with two 60' round pens at one end. One will stay a regular round pen, one will be a free walker. We just haven't done a ton of research yet. My husband likes the Free Style because he's seen it in person, but I'm not set on any particular kind yet!

How exciting!! Freestyle was on my list but they quit emailing me back when I asked about a warranty so that made me nervous.

It is a big decision, let me know if I can help!
