Where is the best place to buy a rope halter with a cotton rope lead online? Everything I see now is nylon, and I'm not a fan!

Half Circle Ranch, hands down. Better quality than Clinton Anderson and other big names at a fraction of the cost. I have three halters for my own personal horses and we have almost a dozen for our string of therapy horses. I've had my oldest halter and lead set for almost six years and it still looks brand new. The director of our facility has also bought their training stick and it has been wonderful as well.

The brand Fabtron makes a great cotton halter. They can be found at Stateline.com or anywhere online really just do a google search for the brand.

Thanks so much guys for the advice! I looked up both and I think they're great.

I'm struggling to find a cotton lead to go with it though? I'll try to attach a pic of the old school ones that I'm talking about. They still make them, they just all seem to be the ones with clips and not already tied on. Maybe I should just buy some rope and make my own? If anyone had a halter and lead like that they'd be willing to sell from here I'd take it! Lol

I'll try to attach a pic or too of what I mean.

It's the twisted cotton leads I like over all the nylon they have out there now.

Chicks discount saddlery has spliced cotton leafs. I think they come with a clip, but it’s the removable ones and you can then attach to the helper to be hardware free.

silvertip rope halters have been wonderfull for me , good luck in finding a spliced cotton rope with a bull snap. I cant find a bull snap lead rope with out ordering online. hate the snap lead ropes mine dont last me 3 months before breaking. try chicksaddlery.com for the lead rope.

When I need new lead ropes my hubby makes mine for me, I buy the rope I need/want, it can be cotton, nylon and I get the snaps that I want on the leads and he braids the snaps on the ropes, you cant hardly find good quality leads any more, they are either junk snaps that rust are junk cotton that rot within a few months, its better you buy you're own snaps and ropes and make you're own leads.

Right! Yeah, no snaps for me. They only end up breaking!! It's hard to find quality in anything anymore it seems.
