To those that have fed the Redmond Daily Gold (Stress Relief) Supplement (or used the paste!), what was your experience? Please include how long you fed it for and to how many horses as well as if you had any issues. What dose did you give for a horse of what weight range? Do you still currently feed it and would you feed it again in the future?

I've heard of many having great success with the daily powder, but am not sure how many have used it long term. I've also heard of many having great success with the paste, so I'm curious if anyone has any separate opinions about the paste vs the daily powder.

Did you notice any issues with feeding it at the same time as other supplements or with hay? Wondering if feeding it over soaked alfalfa pellets might be best to get extra moisture with it, and then feeding the rest of the supplements at a different feeding time.

I have searched previous threads, but would ideally like any new testimonies if anyone can provide them, but also some detail to previous testimonies regarding amount and duration, etc. There also seems to not be much feedback about the paste, and that seems to work really well on it's own from what I've heard elsewhere, so if you've used the paste, really interested in your experience.

Thanks!

I used it for well over a year (daily) and saw a bigger difference in Gastroplex from MVP so I no longer use it.

It is the same as the Redmond Livestock Conditioner (cheaper to order a 25 lb bag of that through a buying group). I feed it, but one mare has started to show ulcer symptoms even while eating alfalfa so it hasn't really been a miracle worker for me.

I looked at the MVP product but was going to try the cheaper option first lol I've got 2 I'm looking to ideally get on the same product.

I have one already on the U7 from Finish Line and really like that I can just syringe it, while also being easy on the wallet. Plus I feel weird about changing stomach pH and U7 has the same pH as the stomach. The one on U7 loses weight from stressing out and I know is an anxious mess so I expect her to have ulcers. She's gained weight back in a matter of days with the U7 and Forco (Using just Forco in the past has helped, but not made a huge difference). The other is fat as a tick, but always has to go fast everywhere, and lacks focus (she's also young) but I'm wondering if ulcers are part of the problem. I figured best to get her on something for them, if not, then just for gastric health. She's just super charged and wants to go, go, go. From everyone I've talked to on it recently, Daily Gold helps calm down horses that are just like her... so I was wondering if anyone here has the same experience or had long term experience.

Don't waste your money. Put them on the GastroPLUS by THE for 30-60 days and then use THE GI/Ulcer support daily. Best product ive tried and it has clinical trials behind it.

I had my anxious/nervous mare (who is an OTTB actually, was sensitive on ulcer acupressure points) on GastroPLUS for a few months with no change. The horse I'm looking at trying the daily gold with is a family member's horse I train/haul, and owner can't afford anything extra, so I purchase all her supplements as well in addition to my own horses, so I'm trying to keep costs down.
