I had to look him up, but I really like him and think he would be a great outcross on many different bloodlines. He's definitely bred well, differently than a lot of the big names right now, but I like that. I'm curious to see if anyone knows how he did futurity-wise.

I college rodeoed with the owner's son and he was always mounted well- hard working, athletic horses with great dispositions, so I wouldn't expect anything different from this stud.

He looks like a foundation bred horse. Seemed good when he was handled for breeding, but that vet doesn't put up with even a smidge of crap from a stud. I tried goodling his futurity results but didn't find anything.

Well, his sire has been to the NFR multiple times. Sire is also the sire of Taci Bettis’ NFR horse. There are others on the top side that have qualified for the NFR. ROLLER AND A SHAKER’s dam is MAUDIES JOAK who was 1976 WPRA BARREL RACING CHAMPION. HE was also an NFR average winner. Ridden by Connie Combs, he made about 8 trips to the NFR.

I have been kinda looking at this guy as well. I sure respect what the bloodlines have done, and I like his body style. What does anyone know about the minds of this bloodline? We don't run across the Biankus bred horses in my neck of the woods.

Β  Biankus horses have been a formidable force in the West for years with all the HUGE outdoor pens. They have made tremendous rodeo horses. Numerous NFR Qualifiers and RFD-TV American Qualifiers. They have been spanking everyone for decades. They are solid minded, sound, tremendous bone, can stand up on any kind of ground and you can send em from the parking lot and they will suck down and turn the first. Captain Biankus and Boogie Biankus ( both stallions) both went to the NFR and Boogie is definitely a sire.

He has GREAT owners. If you call them they will definitely talk the truth to you about him and anything you want to know. Great to deal with when breeding a mare to one of their studs.

I think Hope Sickler-Raley futuried him.  May do a search for her name and his together.

I am bringing this thread back from the grave. I bid & won a breeding to Roller And A Shaker tonight, I really like the looks of him and his running style. Has anyone had any experience in the past couple years with this guy?
