Poor Cracker Girl Posts: 12150 Location: Feeding mosquitos, FL	gGoing to Vinton Saturday to pick up a horse and need a place to spend the night. Rooms at the racetrack are holy cow expensive. Anybody know of an alternative? Would prefer not to camp in the horse trailer in a parking lot.

If you need a place for horses, I might be able to hook you up with someone there. I am from that area just got my butt back to Texas as quick as I could....

I would go a few miles down the road to Sulpher, they have a few places to stay right off of I-10. If you need to keep a horse overnight the WestCal arena may rent a stall or pen, call during business hours to see if they do.
