Come on Bear...Rolling Stone? They are so completely fair and very unbiased. They are so true and journalistic. I mean, I believed the college rape case articles they did. Oh...that's right...I didn't. Sorry...I can get so confused.
I do have the Flu. I need to check my temperature...the fever must be back. |

Wait... I do seem to remember something about that now. I guess I mistook it as a stage name or something.
Wow! I really need to take my temperature.

Frodo - 2019-01-05 9:41 AM The newly installed Dem dominated Congress is beyond frightening......and we have to pay them. They want to do away with the electoral college and allow non-citizens to vote.
Yes, thanks Bear for the input. Trump has his flaws but Pelosi, Schumer and the disgusting Muslim Congresswoman who made those vile remarks yesterday are making him look better and better everyday. I think he senses that and may work it to his advantage. Yes, her name would be Rashiida Tlaib.
That rally speech is a "class act" there and just so full of civil discussion. Right.
ETA... Really no one Democrat is coming out against her language or rhetoric.
Pelosi said she might have a "generational disagreement with that language," but it wasn't any worse than things President Trump has said. |

I do not remember Trump ever even using the "F-word' and/or the MF-word'. However, Trump is so very, very uncivilized.
I guess that maybe Speaker Pelosi might have a "generational disagreement" with us as Trump's "basket of deplorables". Nah... Somehow, I doubt she would even remotely see it as that.
It is just amazing as to what exactly can be justified as civil.
Go figure. Just sayin...

Is it that in the past the office of presidency was more respected? And therefore the actual man in office wasn't so vilified? I'm just being naive I suppose. . . |

I don't think you are naive at all...
It was just so much more civil and respected by all in the past...during ANYTHING Clinton did and we were just "racist" when we disagreed with any Obama policies. And Al Gore could have saved us from W..
It was so very civil then as I think it was pretty one-sided.
