Hey all, I'm new around here and met some of y'all at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo a few weekends ago. After wandering around the vendor booths I saw some new up and coming companies for western boots that looked promising. I'm in need of a new all-around pair of good roper boots and thought I'd ask around and see if anyone had any experience with Tecovas? Their huge booth caught my attention, but I wasn't sure what the quality was like. Has anyone had a pair for more than a year? How do they hold up over time? Do they accommodate wide sizes? Any other brands in a similar price point you'd recommend?
I think I've narrowed it down to either The Earl (plain leather) or The Duke (ostrich leather) seen here. If I knew the ostrich leather would hold up well, I might be able to spring for the extra cost. I just love the way the leather looks. Anyone have any suggestions?
