| I am horrible at saddle fitting. I have a wide (7 inch) triple creek and a 8 inch gullet crown c? which one seems to fit my mare better or do I need to start over from scratch?

| right now to me both look pretty good. BUT I would suggest riding in both and seeing what the sweat marks are like. Saddle fit is mainly to do with the saddle but the pad also plays a part. It could be too thick. The sweat marks will give you a better look to see if the saddle is evenly dispering weight. |

| It is hard to tell but the triple creek looks like its sitting lower than I prefer on her wither which generally means its too wide but it has the narrower gullet than the other so..... i am pointing it out as an observation lol. maybe its just the photo. |

Location: Arizona | Is the rough out saddle your crown c? I think that one fits the best...the other one looks like it pops up a bit in the back end. |

| I feel like the Crown C is a good fit, but I also feel it's a tad far forward. There aren't pics from the rear of the TC, but It looks to be raised in the back, which isn't good. |

Location: North Dakota | Hmm, I'm the odd man out b/c I would pick the Triple Creek over the Martin. Not bad, but I feel like the Martin looks very slightly perched because the bar angle appears to be just a bit too narrow - not by much though. I do agree that the Triple Creek is a bit wide, but I would choose a wide saddle over a narrow saddle. Yes the triple creek is sitting a little downhill because it is a bit wide - not too bad, but a little. I agree to ride in them both, see how they feel, see how they do padded up, and see what the sweat marks looks like and/or which one your horse moves better with. |
