Today is
Due to the very good winter we had and a wet spring, our horses feet are getting thrush pretty bad. I usually use CleanTrax and have had very good success with it. While I couldn't sleep last night I was looking at the best price for CleanTrax and came across a forum saying that Clorpactin WCS-90 (from your local pharmacy) is exactly the same ingrediant as CleanTrax for less. A bottle of CleanTrax from ValleyVet is $22 for 1 use. I am reading you can get about 8 doses of Clorpactin from a pharamcy (without an RX) for $35.
Has anyone ever used Clorpactin?
...bumping for the night crowd... It seems most pharmacies around me don't even carry it anyway lol

Bump
I have used it and re-order it from my local pharmacy when I'm out. Great stuff. I keep it on hand stored in the refirgerator since it's not readily stocked at pharmacies. Kills the bad without harming live tissue.

How much water do you use to mix? I keep finding different answers.
Also, what pharmacy do you get it from (like Walgreens)? Costco and Smiths Pharmacies both have suppliers they cannot order it from. I plan to make more calls today and see if I can find anyone that would order it.
I have to order mine from a local, non-chain pharmacy. They will find it when big chain pharmacies cannot. I just use whatever the directions say, but it's maybe about a half gallon to a gallon of water per vial of CLorpactin. No prescription needed.
