| That's the standard procedure for all insurance companies regardless what you insure... They feed you a LINE .. Force you to swallow the SINKER .. Then set the HOOK .. HOOK .. LINE and SINKER is the name of the game .. Even after you pay the mortgage off on equipment, trucks or house/barn You are just leasing them from the insurance companies and the tax man ..

| Ours isn’t quite that much value wise but close. IMT has our policy through an independent agent. not knocking the Progressives, State Farm’s, Farm Bureau’s - but it’s worth having and independent agent that can shop several underwriters look at all your policies. We did it earlier this year after finding out our workman’s comp policy was over $1000 more per year through Farm Bureau than the other agent (workman’s comp are suppose to be pretty standard). We ended up moving all of our policies, saved a little money, and have better coverage. its funny, my in laws right next door have State Farm, similar setup and policies to what we need when it comes to the farm and vehicles. When we quoted State Farm they were grossly more expensive. Neither of us have had any serious property claims (actually I think about the only one would be hail from the same storm a few years ago), clean driving records, etc - but my in-laws are obviously older than us and must fall into a age/risk bracket that’s State Farm favors. |
