| I recently noticed the black biothane leather on both sides of my Tammy Fischer saddle were torn in half and quite a bit of the stitching was coming unstitched. I immediately contacted Circle Y with my concerns. (As we all know.....These saddles are not cheap to purchase and most use them on a daily basis). They were kind enough to send me a pre-paid packing slip so that I could send it to them to be inspected. Upon inspection it was a defect and they would replace all leathers and fix whatever they could at no charge. Fast forward 8wks and 2 different ship dates later they finally send it back. It looks great and the concerns I had were fixed. However, all the screws sticking out the bottom with out being covered are a bit concerning.... is this normal?

| I know a girl who has a tammy saddle by circle y. During a run, her stirupp leather broke & this saddle was fairly new. Thank God she is a wonderful rider & stayed on her horse & finished her run. Needless to say she was not happy. Personally I would never own any circle y saddle. They are crap in my opinion for what you pay. |

| So after thinking about it all night I decided I was even more uncomfortable with the repair job. So I sent them an email. This is the response they had given. Beyond...frustrated and saddened that they would feel this is ok. |

| Absolutely unacceptable. No way should those screws be showing on the bottom like that. To me, it means they did a shoddy, lazy job of fixing it, especially if it was defective, by their own admission, to begin with. I'd have more conversation with them. I wouldn't get ****y, that never works. But I would certainly call them back and tell them you are not happy with the repair on the defect and tell them they need to make this right. Wow. Just wow, shame on them. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | Is Circle Y saying that the screws on all thier saddles go thru the fleece on the bottom???? And only the pile of the fleece covers that up? |

Location: Central Florida | I will look at my Tammy Fisher when I get to the barn tonight, but I don't believe there are any screws. I'm pretty sure the fleece is over them all |

| I just retired my Tammy Fischer as 2 screws were showing. The fleece was very packed down and didn't have any cudhicu really. I just bought a newTammy Fischer and there are no screws showing and the fleece is MUCH thicker than the one I retired. |

| Yes. That’s my understanding. If I’d like them to fix the fleece so it’s covering the screws (which mind you, the screws are sticking out a bit) they said it would be $250. |

| Thank you all for your input. I appreciate it. I’ve never had this problem. Didn’t feel this repair was adequate and needed confirmation from others. I will never purchase from this company again! |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Back when Circle Y was still a good saddle company I send them a really used Bob marshallTreeless that I bought in pretty sad condition and had them replace the rigging and stirrup straps redid the seat and when I got it back it was a brand new saddle I was so impressed with it, and it did not have any screws showing on the bottom like yours, they even put new fleece on mine, but this was back many years ago befor Circle Y was sold a few times over, now I would not buy a Circle Y. |

| I WILL NEVER buy anything from Circle y ever! I purchased a brand new Tammy fischer, got the saddle finally, and the cantle was lopsided. I contacted them, and they had me ship it back and they deceided to build a new saddle, they send it out, and it was the wrong size. Was suppose to be a wide, they made it a medium and they argue with me that it was correct. I sent it back and got my money back. |
