Today is
what cures them?
Succeed and a feed that doesn’t inflame the gut.
sometimes some baking soda mixed in oil will quiet down a mild case.
the baking soda needs to be in oil to make it to the hind gut.
What would be a feed that would not inflame the gut? I feed Purina Equine Senior, Renew Gold with Succeed and Hay-Rite Cubes would you suggest I change anything? Please educate me on what feeds inflame the gut.
Thanks!

Sucralfate. 10 tabs dissolved in warm water for 21 days twice a day. Wait an hour after giving until feeding hay, grain etc. Then go down to once a day. I now do a maintenance before entering. Has worked better than ulcerguard. Also suceed tube once a day as well.

My question is how do you know the horse has hind gut ulcers? The reason I ask is because a very very small percentage of horses will get hund gut ulcers and very difficult to diagnose.
I don't. I've treated for ulcers and no change. so wondering if it is hind gut
