Father God, guide me today to DO ALL things that will bring glory and honor to You AMEN  JOHN 9:31 We ALL know that God does not listen to sinners, but He listens to ANYONE who worships and OBEYS Him....

most of our prayers could use a tune up.  Some prayer lives lack consistency. They are either a desert or an oasis.  Long, arid, dry spells interrupted by brief plungers into the waters of communion....others of us need sincerity.  Our prayers are a bit hollow, memorized and rigid. More liturgy, than life. And tough they are daily, they are dull. Still others lack, well, honesty.  We honestly wonder if prayer makes a difference. Why on earth would God in heaven want to talk to me?   If God knows all, who am I to tell Him anything?  If God controls all, who am I to do anything?   Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the POWER OF PRAYER is IN the ONE Who HEARS IT and NOT the one who says it, our prayers DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.  God stands between us and our need, waiting to help us. For that reason the Bible says, " let us BOLDLY approach the throne of our gracious God, where we may receive mercy and His grace to find timely help. Hebrews 4:16. Did you not those  last two words? "TIMELY HELP".  Not too soon, nor too late. Just on time. God will make sure you have what you need. From His hand you will receive, "TIMELY HELP" EACH DAY it is now that I MUST MAKE A CHOICE.  Because of Calvary, I am FREE TO CHOOSE.and so I choose , joy, love, patience, self control ..I if succeed , I will give thanks. If I fail, I will seek His grace.  And then, when this day is done. I will place my head on my pillow and rest. Try again tomorrow. For it is WITH God ALL things ARE POSSIBLE Matthew 19:26.  I have learned in my going to be 66 years in Dec. that I have to KEEP MOVING..one pebble at a time to move a mountain. But KEEP MOVING!!  Take a step out ...don't focus on what is happening now. But FOCUS on what is to be...if you don't you will get stuck in a pit..and like a mudslide will be harder to get out of...if you pack the struggles beneath you , you can use them for leverage....to move up and forward each day...I am speaking from my heart ?? of experience from being in a pit, a pit of despair, depression, hopelessness.  Someday I will post my personal testimony...to show others , that at times we are assigned a mountain to show others it can be moved.....YES PRAYERS DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.  We only have HEAR, NOT just listen, but HEAR God's message...AMEN

Thank you for your teachings to us.  And thank you for coming back on here.   I've said it before--what you post seems to be what I need on that specific day.  This is SPOT ON for me today. . .
