| Psalm 3:1-8 Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise against me. Many are they who say, "There is not help for him in God". But You, Oh Lord,You ARE a shield for me myy glory and the One who lifts up my head. I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill. Ever sense that you are surrounded by trouble as well as enemies? The psalmist often reminds us of his despair; it is in these times that he also reminds us that His help does not come from the north, south, east or west, His help comes from the Lord! The Lord is "One who lifts my head' v2. Sin and bad choices can cause us to drag our heads in disappointment shame, guilt and fear. If your decision have you looking more at the dirt from which He brought you than at the Savior with whom He bought you, ask for His touch of mercy and grace, adn experieince the sunlight of His love with a lifted head. For it is WITH God ALL things ARE POSSIBLE Matthew 19:26. Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring GLORY and HONOR TO You AMEN |
