I know there are some northern folk on here! What is the Salt Lake county equestrian center arena like in South Jordan, UT? Size of pattern generally? Stall/ LQ hookup amenities? Do they have any showers on site? Trying to decide if I'm going to make the trek from OK for the Ruby Buckle.

Here is a good video of SJ. I'm assuming the Ruby Buckle is in the indoor arena.

I don't know about RV hook ups. The stalls look small to me, I've never stayed there.

It's been yers since I ran there, but I don't remember having any complaints.

Ruby Buckle will set up a full standard pattern with a center alleyway.  I have always really liked their ground - it is a little on the deep side, but my horses have always worked good in it.  You run 'out' of the arena directly towards a closed roll up door.

The arena set up lately has only allowed the holding pen to be set up to the right.  I think during the futurity they open up both sides of the holding pen.  Also, the warm up arena is covered so even if there is not great weather - you can still get a proper warm up/cool down.

Stalls are 10' x 10' (it looks like) and you will definately want shavings.  I want to say they are set on concrete, but I can't remember 100%.  There are RV spots with power. They have a limited number so best to reserve ahead of time if RB allows it.  I am not sure about showers... you could probably call the facility and they can answer that.

The long term stalls (first to go) are 12x12.  The extras are 10x10.  All stalls are on dirt.  Not very many rv hookups.
