Does anyone know where I can find large, self adhesive wound dressing patches for horses? I have been searching online and all I can find are the human waterproof patches that are to cover insicions after surgery when showering etc.
What part of the body on the horse are you needing patches for?
I need them to cover a wound on the side of face approximately the diameter of baseball. We have been bandaging all the way around the face, but it bothers him and he is rubbing a lot. Just trying to find other options that might keep him more comfortable and bandages in place.

Humm, let me think awhile and I'll look and see whats out there, have you maybe asked your vet how they would do it?
All the way around the face is what he has had me doing, but was open to me trying other options as long as it stays covered.
Have you tryed using Duck Tape to hold a patch over the wound, I used Duck tape a few times to hold vet wrap in place on legs befor and worked pretty good.
Adhesive island dressings! You might be able to get them online.
I might try it. We just have to be careful that he can still open his mouth to eat. We have been using elasticon. Thanks for the idea!
I will search for this. Thanks for the reccommendation!
