| I have a situation/question. I'm considering upgrading my current trailer. I have a 4 horse/midtack/dressing room. My kids are starting to want to participate in activities. Almost 4 and 2 year olds. My husband is reluctant but will go and participate. It's usually us 4 and my friend and her horse when we go. I'm in florida where it is HOT. So I am considering getting a living quarters. We will be doing overnight trips and hopefully going to state next year and eventual futurities. It will be also be used for local day trips. I can't afford a day trailer and a trip trailer. That being said, I'm looking at some pretty huge trailers for everyone to be comfy. These kids are active and need a place to be contained and air conditioned but able to move around. Hubby's willingness directly correlates to comfort level. Is it insane to have a 4 horse with a midtack/bunk, 14ft lq, with a slide out, and a rear tack at a local jackpot? It won't be so ridiculous with all of us and my 2 horses and my friends horse and my kids pony and all 5 of us but when I go alone with a horse or 2 it will be a little crazy. Also, hauling one horse to the vet will be a little silly. What's your experience? I don't want to make a super dumb and expensive decision but I don't want to under shoot it and struggle either.

| We take our LQ to a lot of small jackpots. My husband loves to be able to be able to go and sit in the air conditioned trailer. We have a smaller stock trailer and an LQ, if the guys are going roping, I end up taking the LQ to smaller barrel races. It has always been okay. |

Location: Arkansas | We have a 4 horse LQ and up until last year it was our only trailer. We went to rodeos, play days, vet, trail rides (overnight and just day trips), etc. A lot of times it was just 2 of us and two horses, but I absolutely wouldn't trade it for anything. We had plenty of room for the horses and supplies, and we could actually have used more room for Sean, Luca, and me in the LQ!! Good luck and I hope you find what you're looking for. Ours is an older SD and wasn't financed. . . .

| As long as you can drive it, don't worry about whatever anyone else thinks. I have a 35 on the floor, 15' LQ, 4' midtack and 4 stalls and it's usually just me and 2 other horses. I bought it to haul with my friends (which we do two or three times a month - way easier and way more space to haul 3 people with a 15' LQ) but can't afford a smaller one too. You do what works and don't pay any mind to anyone else. |

| How do you think, is it allowed for kids to eat charcoal grill meat? I think it is perfect for children. It is very tasty for my wife and my children. |

Location: WI | I just upgraded to a big LQ last year and have to haul it everywhere :-) Don't worry about what other people think. I've been trading up and up since I was in my 20's and I'm proud I finally have the LQ - I would do it again, no regrets. BUT, my next 'upgrade' will be a 2nd runaround trailer, lol. |
