Has any one had horse stifle helped by acupuncture??

We actually did a horse at my barn a couple weeks ago, I watched the process. The acupuncture was done in the front end of the horse & the stifle got considerably better daily & after about 2 weeks she was sound. It was very interesting. I think they still decided to go ahead and inject the stifle this week as far as I know
