| I had two different, unaffiliated vets recommend Equithrive for one of my horses. I'm going to try Summit injections on him in a month or so... |

| I have two very senior horses and I have started them recently on Algae to Omega and I can really tell a difference. Unfortunately only one of them will eat it mixecd in with soaked cubes, the other turns his nose up. It has a strong fish smell so you have to give it a little at a time. |

| Joint injections are a fun industry. For feed throughs, you have to have such large doses to even make it through the gut TO the joint, and very very rarely do they work for anything more than minor. Look for studies and proven results before buying! The only ones I've used and truly seen results with (again on no more than minor arthritis) are Exceed 6 Way, Tight Joints Plus, Cetyl M, Cosequin ASU, GLC 5500 Max. Large doses and studies with proven results, but you'll pay for quality. For my colts with a clean slate, I like to start them on Formula 1 Noni Blue Label (great for the gut AND joints). I'd rather use a monthly injection like Adequan, Pentosan, Summit, Legend, etc. They're going to be 1/3 or even 1/2 at most of what a feed through will cost monthly AND they're proven to work. Plus there's no mixing it into grain, having it missed or flipped out of the feed bucket, so you KNOW they're getting it. |

Location: Illinois | With the Exceed 6 Way you're getting one that's had the research & clinical studies done to back it up. And unlike some of the others listed it covers more than just joint support. It's an all in one. My horses have all done great on it and it's extended my time between joint injections for them. One is 27 and he can go a whole year between and the other I jsut retired at 21 this year and between both his hocks and both knees he has 17 spurs & naturally dry joints and he retired sound joint wise. He took a fall that damaged soft tissue and I have a 6 year old that needs put first now othersiwe I'd have let him rehab & run again. But he's been going for 11 seasons nonstop now and he had earned his spot as my ride at home, trail ride/camping horse. Their feet have gotten better on the Exceed, their muscles are more supported, and it helps keep their gut happy. So at least for the price of the Exceed you're getting more than just a joint coverage. And don't even get me started on what their coats look like |

Location: NC | Cetyl m and adequan are my go to. My 24 year old gelding has been on cetyl m since i got him at 7 and we had his hocks x-rayed last year and they were better then some 5 year olds. And he runs every weekend usually running open and senior. My other gelding gets his stifles done and cetyl m as well. |
