I like my trusty leggings/ yoga pants, jeans and then carhartt bibs. I order the smartwool snowboarding socks off of amazon and they are amazing. On top I just layer up so I can shed them as I get warmer. Dont forget hat and gloves too, north face has some good wind/ water resistant ones that you can use with your smart phone.

Under Armour, toe warmers (I wouldn't last 30min with out these!!) and just layers.

I love the CowgirlTuff lined jeans. I usually freeze if it is the slightest bit cold out and they help a ton. I bought them on a sale as I hate buying clothes full price and they are a little spendy.

I couldn't survive winter without my floppy ear fur hat!  It keeps my whole face warm!  And for the really cold wet days, I wear a snowboarding jacket and snowboarding pants.

Usually I do leggings, double socks, bibs and a heavy coat but this year I'm changing it up to columbia ski pants and ski jacket. So tired of heavy coveralls

Foot warmers for starters.  We've rode when the temp was -1.  keeping your hands and feet warm are first and foremost.  Once you horse gets warmed up a bit the saddle is warm.  Hardest part is giving the horses plenty of time to cool down and dry off before taking them out of the arena.  We go through coolers and blankets like crazy :)   I also warm the bit(s) before putting it in their mouths.
