Does anyone use a black widow drag with a 50hp tractor?  Just curious how it works with the smaller tractor

I'm pretty sure they recommend at least a 50hp

Don't know anything about that but one thing I have learned about those arena tools are that they don't work all that well in our kind of ground.  We are all dirt, no sandy stuff and we can get really hard packed.  We had one of the Tarter tools and broke a lot of the tynes.

We have a big tractor for our black widow but have also broken a lot of the drag shovels off in our harder ground. We had about 12 semi loads of sand added and still break shoves off of our black widow. I guess that's a problem with harder ground and the bolts that they use.

The  Black Widow is the best arena tool as it does it all.  The smallest tractor would be a 50hp 2-wheel or 45hp 4-wheel drive.

Contact them. They can tell you if your exact tractor can pull it or not.

I haven't bought one (but have been drooling) and I emailed to ask and they emailed right back asking about the specs.
