Location: Watertown, SD | This has been a BLAST to read through!! Since a few others have offered updates since they were last active, I thought I would too. I've retired from competition several years ago, including a brief pause with endurance riding, and now I keep....imported competition grade fancy goldfish! I import from all over the world. It turns out that livestock is basically livestock and my experience with horses gave me a leg up on the learning curve. 3 of my fish recently won their variety group in the Canadian-American Fancy Goldfish Show! (LOL!!! I know, right?!?! Who knew?) Now, my entire basement has massive display tanks with fat, happy goldfish swimming around AND it turns out that a couple of our BHW family are also fish folks and our paths crossed in FB fish groups! That was such a cool surprise.

What a beauty , I love Goldfish, in fact I have been raising some in some stock tanks in my back yard, but nothing like what you have..Some are fan tails and just the common goldfish, I think they are just so cool.. |

Aren't they fun?!?! And they hardly ever stomp on my feet and break bones! LOL!! I kept a lot of fish, but goldfish are my favorites. They're so happy and personable. No drama whatsoever. I wish you were closer! After the shows, I often give the ones away that are super nice, but didn't quite grow the same as the others. Ya know...1D out of the money as opposed to top of the 1D. Haha! |

My little sister and I love fish!!! I dont have an aquarium at the moment, and I never had competition quality fish, but I loved it! My sister has like 3 or 4 fresh water tanks. |
