Looking for a top producing stallion (futurity) with a stud fee of $3,500 or under (colt resale value is a huge plus).

Will be crossed on a Stoli x Oak Tree Special mare.

Listing a few I've had my eye on...

~ Famous Bugs

~ Slick By Design

~ Frenchmans Fabulous

~ Shawne Bug Leo

~ Bullseye Bullion

~ Traffic Guy

~ First Down French

~ ASNY

Who would you pick?!

You have a good list, there are so many nice stallions out there I think your list could be infinite.

I'd add

MCM Imahoss

RR Mistakelly

Couple things to consider:

 1. You can look through the top futurities and find the common studs.

 2. Many of those top horses are trained by 100% futurity horse trainers.

So find the common ones trained by your average Joe if that's what fit's your description.  Or figure out which trainer you'll send the foal to for their futurity training based on what's winning for them.

I have experience with a few of them:

Famous Bugs - havent ridden one

~ Slick By Design- ships great, I bred my stoli daughter to him for a 2018 foal. Got a homozygous black filly and sold her as a yearling. She is competing with her new owner this year. We have a Rare Bar mare in foal to him, due on 2/14/2021 but she looks like she will foal late.  I like their dispositions and feel like he throws talent as well.

~ Frenchmans Fabulous- I have ridden one. but his record speaks for himself.

~ Shawne Bug Leo- ships great. Bred a Reckless Dash X Bugs Alive in 75 mare to him in 2018 for a 2019 foal. Sold him as a long yearling gelding. He was very typey of SBL- big, well made, sorrel with strip on the face. Good disposition and his new owners are really impressed with him. He's started under saddle now.

~ Bullseye Bullion- I have not ridden one, but I've seen him at events and his conformation is outstanding. I think he is beautiful and could provide excellent genetics and conformation.

~ Traffic Guy- I have not ridden one.

~ First Down French- I have owned three of them. Bred my Stoli daughter (no longer own her) to him in 2012 for a 2013 foal. Sold him as a yearling. Had a daughter of FDF out of a JOH mare who was cute and talented, sold her to help pay for my wedding. Bred my Reckless Dash X Bugs Alive in 75 mare to him in 2013 for a 2014 foal. She is the horse I compete on now, I've turned down 6 figures for her. She's the real deal. Has also produced other badass mares- Hot French Lady (huge 1D record, 2x American Semifinalist), and Famous Lemon Drop.

~ ASNY- I haven't ridden one but Ive bred several client mares to him. Ships great, farm great to work with. Has produced some super nice offspring lately that have won at the futurity level and I think hes got 2-3 going to the American Semi finals this spring. For the money, he's a great deal, and I wouldnt hesitate to breed something to him, especially a stoli.

Thank you! I have always heard fabulous things about First Down French. ASNY will be on the short list!
