Have you guys ever seen random sweat areas on your horses? Over the years I've seen different horses get perfect sweat circles on their neck and over their butt. Few random other places to. I had pretty much forgot about them until this morning. My horses back was covered in sweat but every other place dry. It wasn't exactly where saddle would go or pad. I rode last night for about 20 minutes. Everything was fine after. This morning his back was sweaty and it even made enough to drip. It was like he stood under a faucet all night. He seems totally fine, he had a custom saddle tree made just for him and it's been amazing. It's just weird. Anyone else ever get random sweat patches overnight ?

Only on neck. Nerve damage.

Flitastic, now please don't take this as degrading or anything, and I don't know where you live, but could it be dew dripping off a tree or building? Just trying to think outside the box! We are in KS, so we have lots of dew this time of year. 

Lol. I'm in southern CA and it has been near 100 degrees daily and dry. Lol no Dew at this point. It's all dry and normal this afternoon. I even rubbed it this morning and it was foamy sweat. Lol

Yep! Never came back and vet looked at him today. All good.
