Any experience good results with adding this to a horses feed? I want to add some calories. I can have it delivered by chewy, seems pretty reasonable and I like that it's pelleted for this particular horse. My daughter's horse is pretty much all caught up with gaining much needed weight and filling in topline. I want to put this horse on the same ration balancer my horse is on, I don't like dumping 6-7lbs of grain a day to one but he needed it. He looks good now, we just want to keep him there and continue to build muscle.  He has a slow feed net in front of him 24/7 full of grass /alfalfa mixed hay. My goal is to get away from "grain" per say... my plan was to add in the equi jewel to his balancer for the extra calories. My horse is an easy keeper and maintains plenty on just 1- to 1/2lb a day on this balancer.  

I love Omega Horse Shine and theres a Complete too. Been using this product for years.

Oppps sorry I didnt answer your question about the Equi-Jewel Rice Bran, nope never used it. All I have ever used is the Omega horse shine and I like Uckele Tri Amino also ,but it is a powder, the HorseShine is more of a crumbles.. 

We sell it at our store. All my customers that have used it have been really happy with their results. We get it through Bluebonnet.

Ah! I forgot about the horseshine.. thank you for reminding me!  I've decided to try this particular horse on the pro care and see if there's any improvement... I suspect mild tummy issues and want to go lower nsc and get away from corn in his feed. I didn't love the procare on my horse but it may be a better match for this one.
