Shoppers: I am curious how many people shop vendors at barrel races and what you buy or look to buy?

Vendors: What makes a race worth it? What things do you look for when picking a race?

I look for unique clothing or tack that's a bargain. 

Years ago I had a tack shop that specialized in barrel racing. I had everything a barrel racer could possibly want. We were in Oklahoma. Smokin' Bandits Tack. We went to a number of barrel races to sell our stuff. We went to some big races at popular farms and venues, like Victory. We went to a Connie Combs clinic one time because I had all of her stuff--her strap goods, bits, videos, etc. I'm sorry to report, we hardly sold anything. We sold more stock online even back then when not many people shopped online. This was around 2002. 

I have a super hard time finding jeans I like so you can bet if I find any at a show I’m buying them! If I need horse boots and they have some I’ll pick them up as well.
