| Hi, I am doing research to find the next horse for my daughter and being located in Canada, I am looking at offsprings from prominent Canadian Sires, in particular these 4: - Frenchs Hula Guy
- Root Beer Boots
- Hezgottabefamous
- LDS Unleashed
I am fairly familiar with the Unleashed bloodline and some of their character traits, but not with the other lines, hence this post. Does anybody know some of the character traits that these sires usually pass off to their offsprings? I know who the mare is is critical too, and that each offspring is unique, but I am sure there are some common traits those sires give to their babies, things such as: - running style?
- are they turny or stiffer?
- are they quick learners or need more patience?
- do they typically need an aggressive rider or someone who gets out of their way?
- do they tend to be on the hot side or more level headed?
- do they develop quickly or are slower to mature?
I am sure there are plenty more questions, but I thought of these to give you an idea of what I am looking for. Ideally, my daughter would love to try some of those offsprings, but, outside of Unleashed's, she most likely won't be able to, hence the research. Thanks a lot in advance, B. |
